MEET THE CANDIDATES

 Te Puru Hall

10.00 am Sunday 12th September.

 

Organised by the Thames Coast Protection Society & the Te Puru Community Centre Committee

We have invited all candidates to speak.  

These include the candidates for:

Mayor
District Council – Thames Ward
Community Board – Thames
Environment Waikato - Regional Council

Each speaker will have approx. 5 minutes to speak and all candidates have been asked to make clear their views on:

  • Mining as a prohibited activity in our District Plan
  • Road widening and the removal of Pohutukawa on the Thames Coast Road .
We ask that you respect each candidate's right to speak without interruption
