Transit plans for the Coast Rd

We received informally a set of plans suggesting what a remodelled section of the Coast Rd at Ruamahunga Bay would look like. We recognise these are not finalised, rather draft options but reveal the depth of work that has been done in going down this path.

Transit's local engineer, Barry Dowset, has indicated that what is decided for this 1.5km stretch will be used as a template for the entire 31kms.

Please note: plan files are approx 90kb each

  • Plan 1  Three Kings corner realignment
  • Plan 2  Three Kings to Ruamahunga boat ramp
  • Plan 3  Otuturu Cres and beach
  • Plan 4   Seawall at Otuturu
  • Plan 5   Otuturu north
  •

This not the 1st time TCPS has done battle with Transit over the Coast  Rd. This has happened over some 15 years
